Print Club Framing Ideas

April 2026

Spring is technically here, so let’s have a little fun with our frame this month.

I LOVE using striped or patterned mats. Especially with small art pieces. It’s an amazingly simply way to elevate the piece and expand the impact in your space.

If you want to shop done-for-you options, I recommend exploring Etsy. Shops like this one have unlimited options to explore. I haven’t used that shop but just showing an example.

If you have the time to DIY, grab some paint or oil pastels or crayons - whatever you have on hand. And give it a try!

I chose one color from the April print to pull out and use as my stripe color. I used a ruler to mark guidelines every half inch (pro tip: start measuring ¼ in so you have balanced stripes on either end of the mat). Then I took my time and made some painterly stripes. They don’t have to be perfectly straight. I think the wonkiness makes it feel more organic.

Unfortunately many of my favorite framing suppliers are having difficulty securing inventory so I’ve had to resort to Amazon for picture frames until I find new suppliers. I do my best to find higher quality frames with actual wood. Links below!

Frame 11” x 14”

Mat 11” x 14” with 5” x 7” opening

I also LOVE how April + March prints pair together. Meant for each other!

March 2026

The first landscape for the 2026 Print Club!

This piece is extra special and exclusive because it’s literally not available to anyone but you. It’s in celebration of the new originals collection releasing in April at The Campbell Collective, a fine art gallery in South Carolina.

I wanted to keep the frame slight and simple to allow this BOLD artwork to shine. This frame is just 6” x 8” with a 5” x 7” mat found on Amazon.

One of my favorite looks for small art is an oversized mat. You can use an 11x14 frame with a 5x7 mat opening to help expand the impact.

I love the gallery frame collection from Pottery Barn. I also found this budget friendly alternative on Amazon. The frame shown above is from Opposite Wall. They have mats available as well. If you already have a frame you love, you can search up “11x14 mat with 5x7 opening” on Amazon.

This month you have the choice to use the same exact frame you used last month and pair the two prints together, or find a new spot and pick a new frame.

I'd love to see where you place yours and how you style it! Feel free to send me a photo or tag me on Instagram!

January 2026

I hope you LOVE this month's print as much as I do. As part of this club, I plan to share a different framing suggestion each month. Some months will keep it simple and others will get more creative so you always have options for your ever-growing collection of art. Although it's a small print, it can have a big impact in your space.

This month, I'm keeping it simple with an 8x10 frame and a mat with a 5x7 opening. This one can hang on the wall, or be placed on a shelf. You can find it here (I chose the cherry finish). This is a better quality option that I found on amazon as it is made out of wood and has real glass.

It's the perfect size for any tiny slivers of wall you may have around your home (like the tiny powder room wall I have shown below), or to pop on the kitchen counter (shown above)!

I'd love to see where you place yours and how you style it! Feel free to send me a photo here or on Instagram.

Until next month!
